By using CleanHive, you agree to these terms. Please read them carefully before booking or using our platform.
Services
CleanHive operates as a technology-enabled platform connecting short-term rental hosts with professional cleaning services. We manage cleaner assignment, scheduling, quality verification, and payment processing. By accessing our platform you acknowledge that CleanHive acts as an intermediary between hosts and independent cleaners.
Bookings & Payment
Prices are confirmed at the time of booking. Payment is collected via card after each confirmed clean. No upfront deposits are required. CleanHive reserves the right to adjust pricing for future bookings with advance notice. All prices are shown inclusive of VAT where applicable.
Cancellations
Cancellations made more than 24 hours before a scheduled clean are free of charge. Cancellations within 24 hours may incur a fee of up to 50% of the clean price. We will notify you in all cases. Repeated short-notice cancellations may result in account suspension.
Backup Guarantee
If your assigned cleaner is unable to attend, CleanHive will automatically assign a replacement where possible. If no replacement is available in time for your booking, you will not be charged for that clean. This guarantee applies to bookings made with at least 12 hours' notice.
Liability
All CleanHive cleaners carry public liability insurance. In the event of damage or loss, claims must be reported within 48 hours of the clean via hello@cleanhive.co.uk. Our liability is limited to the cost of repair or replacement up to the cleaner's insurance limit. We are not liable for pre-existing damage or items of exceptional value not declared prior to the clean.
Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising from your use of CleanHive will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales. If any provision of these terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full force.
